As of Dec 17th, MediaPost is reporting that OfficeMax’s ElfYourself” campaign has seen 57 million elves created. Now in it’s third year the Elf campaign is stronger than ever. Site visits are lasting 15 minutes and on average visitors are creating 4.5 Elf videos. They are tracking over 11,000 blog posts already — with just three weeks into the campaign.
Last year the campaign saw 193 million visits averaging 7.5 minutes and only creating 2 videos on average.
This year the campaign includes a Facebook application that already has 600,000 users.

This is a very addicting viral marketing tool that is easy to use, brings a lot of fun, and hit’s a social chord. It allows users to bring that office holiday party cheer to their email inbox — all surrounded with an OfficeMax message.
